Happy Tails & Foster Failures
With so much stress, the thing that makes a rescuer the happiest is seeing a pet being adopted and happy in their new home. Here is a list of recent adoptions, some who were sought out; and some who were supposed to be temporary fosters...and never left. These kids have wiggled their way into families lives and hearts, and become permanent members of the family tree.

"Chula" (formally Jeanine)
"Chula" was rescued from Cleveland, OH. She now lives with her mommy, daddy, and
4 boys who adore her. She enjoys spending time on the couch and playing in the
woods, and soaks up being the only pet in the house! We love you Chula!

"Odin" (formally Appa)
"Odin" was rescued 15 minutes before euthinasia at the Jackson County Animal
Shelter. He now lives with his mommy, two boys, and doggie sister who thinks he
is a big pain in the butt! He enjoys playing catch with his "rollie", going for
walks and cuddling up for a movie. We love you, Odie!!

"Little Bear"
"Little Bear" was owner surrendered when his mom was unable to care for him. At 12 weeks old, this little guy quickly found love after a doctor visit and a good bath! He now lives with doggie brother "Buck" (pictured at the bottom of the photo), his human mom and dad, and 2 human kids to play with.

"Big Boy" was taken in by Rescue Me after being abandoned at a Jackson Veterinary Hospital and facing euthinasia. This sweetheart was adopted by his wonderful new daddy, and lives out his days romping in his country yard with his doggie sister "Snowy". We love you, Big Boy!

1 1/2 year old litter mates, Silk and Deuce, were sadly surrendered to Rescue Me after their home was foreclosed upon and their family was split apart. 4 months later, they were happily adopted by a wonderful family together! They now reside in their city home playing with their many children, cuddling in bed and being worry free. We love you, Silk and Deuce!

"Jasper"
Oh Jasper, what a handsome lad!! Mr. Jasper was pulled from a Cleveland, OH gassing shelter and brought to Rescue Me. After going through a few failing trials, he finally found his forever home with the Smaga family!! He enjoys spending time with his family being the only pet, and then goes to daycare (grandma and grandpas!) while mom is at work and runs the two acre yard with his 4 favorite doggie buddies! This guy has it good, we love you, Jasper!

"Elmer" (Formally "Buck Shot")
Little Buck Shot, what a silly little guy! This guy was owner surrendered to Rescue Me when his family was unable to keep him. After spending months in foster care, this crazy guy has found his way into the hearts of the Pewsey family! Now "Elmer" resides in a beautiful country home with his mommy and daddy, and doggie sister "Glue" (see the naming here?) Thank you Pewsey family, and we love you Bucky!

"Trixie" (Formally "Jenna")
Jenna gets 100 points for going the farthest distance!! Poor Jenna was transported by Rescue Me from a gassing shelter in Cleveland, OH to her new home with her daddy in Schneider, IN. She now spends her days enjoying the Indiana outdoors and being the only pet to be loved on. We love you, Jenna!
